Adventure the Spreewald and „Sleep in a Work of Art“

The station “Spreewelten Bahnhof” of Lübbenau is the “Gate into the Spreewald”
and the basis doing holidays and discovering the unique biosphere reserve
of the Spreewald.

Many years ago the protected station building (built in 1878) was redeveloped
and reorganized by the company WIS Wohnungsbaugesellschaft im Spreewald mbH in 2006.
In this building you can find a modern travel centre with tourist information, travel agency,
rental bikes and a Spreewald shop with a special ambience and offers.

But the possibility to use the rooms, which were designed by 11 artists from
near and far, in the “Pension Spreewelten” is unique.
Here it is possible to sleep in a work of art.
Dive into the world of Spreewald sagas, experience the “Chamber of the King of Wends”
or the romance of “Miss Marple’s Spreewald Express”. 11 rooms, 11 worlds with
magic names will put you in a position being in another world and
the overnight stay will be an unforgettable adventure.

Now, after 140 years the old building has got a respectable
meaning which is unique and never has been.
